About The Mitchell Chang Foundation

In February 2018, 3-year-old Mitchell Chang passed away from drowning at his swim school.  The Mitchell Chang Foundation exists to honor Mitchell’s exuberant and compassionate spirit by continuing his good story.

THE NEED FOR INCLUSIVE PLAY.

To address San Antonio’s need for a free public inclusive playground, The Foundation has partnered with the City of San Antonio to build Mitchell’s Landing at Classen-Steubing Ranch Park.  This pirate-themed inclusive playground will be a place where all families can create joyful memories through interactive play!
